Appraisals

Appraisals built on the period's real numbers

Reviews that start from attendance, sales and targets already in Clockroll — then turn into a rating the worker can see and a salary revision an admin can apply.

How is an appraisal set up?

Create a template with a rating scale and the criteria that matter to you, each with a weight. Open a cycle for a period, and Clockroll creates one review per active worker, assigned to their reporting manager (or an admin when there is none).

What evidence does the reviewer see?

Attendance counts, sales by category and metrics against targets for the period, pulled in automatically and saved with the review when it is submitted — so the conversation starts from facts, not memory.

How is the final rating worked out?

As the weighted average of the criterion scores, calculated on the server. Reviewers add comments and goals for the next cycle.

What does the worker see?

Once a review is released: the final rating, each criterion's score, the comments and the goals — in the worker app. They never see a pay proposal.

Can a review lead to a raise?

Yes. The reviewer can propose a salary revision with an effective date. Only an admin can apply it, which creates the worker's new salary structure for payroll. Reviews are written by managers; self-review is not available yet.
