For retail stores

Pay your floor staff for what they actually sell

Attendance across branches, commission from real sales, and an advance book that balances itself — so the month-end salary sheet stops being a weekend job.

How does a store track staff attendance?

Staff check in on their phone at the store. Give each branch its own geofence — flag or block check-ins from outside — and require a selfie if you want proof of who checked in. Weekly offs are set per person, so staggered off days across the week just work.

How is sales commission calculated?

Each sale is an event with an amount and a category. A plan can pay a different rate per category, step up in tiers as monthly sales grow, or start paying only after a threshold. When two people close a sale together, split it and each share counts toward their own tiers.

Sales can be entered in Clockroll or sent from your billing system through the API.

Can one person have a different rate?

Yes. Assign a plan to everyone, a department, a role or one person; the most specific assignment wins. Your store manager can be on a different plan from the floor team without duplicating anything.

What about salary advances?

Record each advance with a repayment plan — all at the next payroll or in instalments. Payroll deducts what is due, cash repayments count immediately, and the staff member sees their balance in the worker app.
