Does it work for late-night shifts?
Yes. A shift that ends after midnight belongs to the day it started, so a 6 pm to 2 am shift is one working day, not two half-days.
How are overtime and late arrivals handled?
Turn on overtime and choose the multiplier; worked minutes beyond the shift are paid at that rate. Turn on late fines per instance or per minute, with a number of free late days if you want to be forgiving. Both are optional and use your numbers.
Can staff without smartphones be marked present?
Yes. A manager marks the daily register for the whole team in one screen, while staff with phones check themselves in.
How do advances get repaid?
In full at the next payroll or in equal instalments, deducted automatically when you lock the month. Set a cap so advances never run ahead of salary.
